Ingredients
Tea Base
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp dried chamomile or 1 chamomile tea bag
Milk Mixture
- 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
Sweetener & Garnish
- 1 tbsp honey (to taste)
- a pinch of ground cinnamon (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Boil Water: Heat 1 cup of water until it reaches a rolling boil to prepare the base for the chamomile infusion.
- Brew Chamomile Tea: Brew the chamomile tea by placing 1 tablespoon of dried chamomile or a chamomile tea bag into a teapot or mug. Pour the boiling water over it and let steep for 5 to 7 minutes. Remove the tea bag or strain out the chamomile flowers once done.
- Warm Milk: While the tea is steeping, warm 1/2 cup of milk in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir occasionally to avoid scorching and heat until steaming but not boiling. Froth the milk to create a light airy texture if desired.
- Sweeten Tea: Stir 1 tablespoon of honey into the steeped tea, adjusting the amount to your preferred sweetness level.
- Combine and Serve: Pour the warmed and frothed milk into the mug containing the honey-sweetened chamomile tea. Stir gently to combine.
- Garnish and Enjoy: Sprinkle a pinch of ground cinnamon on top for added warmth and flavor, then serve immediately and enjoy your relaxing honey chamomile tea latte.

- You can use dairy or any plant-based milk such as almond, oat, or soy milk.
- Adjust honey amount based on your sweetness preference or substitute with maple syrup for a vegan option.
- For an extra frothy latte, use a milk frother or whisk the milk vigorously before adding.
- The cinnamon garnish is optional but adds a lovely warming aroma and taste.
- Drink this tea latte about 30 minutes before bedtime for a calming effect.
